The Cooling Technology Behind TIME Magazine's Best Invention
One of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2023 – Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Frontier supercomputer – is enabled by our cooling technology.
Froniter is the world's first and fastest exascale supercomputer, hosted at the ORNL in Tennessee. Surpassing a quintillion calculations per second and computing five times faster than current supercomputers, empowers scientists to pioneer innovations in energy, medicine, and materials. Each year, TIME recognizes 200 extraordinary inventions that change lives. Frontier was included in TIME's Best Inventions of 2023 list in the Experimental category.
